Dana Edmunds has been hunting in the Maine woods for most of his life. In previous years he also guided in the state of Montana for mountain lion and elk. Having grown up with a father who was a Maine guide he was raised with a great respect for the outdoors, and a love of the hunt. Having hunted for many years for the fun and game of the hunt, he has now devoted his life to ensuring that anyone who wants to learn the ins and outs of hunting in the Maine woods has the opportunity to do so.

Tim Farrar has been a life long hound hunter and is without question one of the top hound men in the state. Tim has an outstanding pack of hounds, well trained in coyote and bear hunts.

Due to the many variances in the hunting seasons that are offered by Bear Mountain Guide Service, rates are determined by the season, the animal in which you wish to be hunting for and the amount of people who will be included in the group.

As a courtesy to our hunters we do quarter and freeze all game that is killed in order to transport to your home.

Bear Mountain Guide Service offers a well equipped camp which will comfortably sleep six people also offers all of the amenities of home, including cable television, and a full service kitchen. The kitchen has everything you'll need to make your stay pleasant, all you must bring is the food and drink your going to want. The camp is located within a fifteen minute drive to many nice restaurants as well as being off in the woods to provide for privacy and a well rounded hunting experience.
