Dana
Edmunds has been hunting in the Maine woods for most of his life. In
previous years he also guided in the state of Montana for mountain lion
and elk. Having grown up with a father who was a Maine guide he was raised
with a great respect for the outdoors, and a love of the hunt. Having
hunted for many years for the fun and game of the hunt, he has now devoted
his life to ensuring that anyone who wants to learn the ins and outs of
hunting in the Maine woods has the opportunity to do so.
Gail Allenson is a registered recreational guide. She offers
hiking excursions as well as snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
Gail really enjoys skijoring with the hounds and would love to show
you how much fun it is! She also lends a helping hand with hound
hunting bear and bobcat, as she owns and adores her pack of Walker
hounds. |

As a courtesy to our hunters we do quarter and freeze all game that is
killed in order to transport to your home.
 
Bear Mountain Guide Service offers a well equipped camp which will
comfortably sleep six people also offers all of the amenities of
home, including cable television, and a full service kitchen. The kitchen
has everything you'll need to make your stay pleasant, all you must bring
is the food and drink your going to want. The camp is located within a
fifteen minute drive to many nice restaurants as well as being off in
the woods to provide for privacy and a well rounded hunting experience.
